Hi! I'm Michelle of GoodGeorgie on Etsy! I have always had a drive to create, from a gardening book for my dad when I was in 3rd grade (WI bred and raised!), to the current projects I work on now for my shop! I admit I haven't quite figured out what to focus on with my shop, but that's because my interests are so wide ranging and I love learning new techniques and trying new things. Recently I have been very into earring making with old bottlecaps, but I also enjoy painting with oil paints and sewing. I make things that I myself would love, so all my earrings are colorful, dangly and fun; and my paintings are colorful and dreamy or whimsical. I also hope to feature some dorkier wares soon driven by my love for old video games and sci fi/fantasy. So keep watching, you'll never know what I'll come up with next!
I got into etsy because one day my husband made a bucket list while he was bored at work, so I decided to make one as well. While writing that list I realized how cool it would be to someday sell something that I had made, so I started making things. Most of my first pieces were baby themed since we had just had our son. Later I started making other more practical items like washcloths and then finally broke out and started making women's scarves and a few hats. The scarves are my real passion, but they are a little more time consuming than the baby items and washcloths. My shop is very much a work in progress. I have so many projects that I am experimenting with at the moment! For example, I am in the process of developing a line of market bags. I would also love to be able to do a few pillow covers, but am afraid they are probably too time consuming to make selling them worth it. Mostly, I just try to get new listings into my shop, something that is terribly difficult to do when you are 30 weeks pregnant and have a toddler running around. Sometimes I envy other etsy sellers who seem to have all the time in the world to create and network because they either don't have kids, or else their kids are much older and in school or simply playing outside, but then I think about it and realize just how precious this time is with my little ones, and it makes not having so much time worth it. So, I crochet and knit during nap time and after Milo goes to bed, and that's good enough for now. I hope you enjoyed reading about me and checking out my work :)
My site is named after my sweet tabby/tortie girl Georgie, who shares my house with me, her brother Simon, my boyfriend and a 55 gallon goldfish tank! We live in amazing Boulder, CO which provides a lot of inspiration with its progressive and adventurous spirit. I'm currently in graduate school for biochemistry, and when I'm not doing science or making things, I like to ski, hike, backpack, sail, eat, drink, cook, and enjoy life!

HI! My name's Melissa. I'm a christian, a stay at home mom to my 13 month old, Milo, and I love crafts! I have a wonderful husband that I love to death, he is the best thing that happened to me after accepting christ. We are expecting another little one in September, her name will be Brooklynne. I have been crocheting and knitting for about 4 years now and am in L O V E with it. So, basically my life revolves around cuddling with my adorable son, trying to keep a clean apartment and crafting :)

I am Dr Brassy Steamington. I share my laboratory with an ornery cat Delilah, who has been my loyal and constant companion since 1997. I aspire to carve out a little living here on Etsy, making available the very best Steampunk and Gothic items. I seek out the highest quality supplies and spend much time in R&D to ensure the durability of my designs. I want each piece to be comfortable, beautiful and to last a lifetime.
I started making Steampunk items way back in 1986-88, long before the name Steampunk was universally used. I sold jewelry in a tiny little store called Linda Flynn's in San Luis Obispo, CA where I was born and raised my whole life.
Why I do what I do....I had the great luck of the human genome draw to get Lupus (yes, this means I have an excuse for being "Loopy" at times:-) and a nasty case of asthma to boot. As I can not go out into the sun (which makes me real popular with my Vampire friends), and I can not be above 70 degrees (Love those A/C units), I am relegated to the laboratory/dungeon on most days.
I tell you this, not to garner sympathy but more to reach out to those with health challenges who are finding it near impossible to secure work in the impossibly young/healthy/suntanned world. You have value! You can do anything you aspire to do! This is what helped me reach into my inner Steampunk to go back to what I loved doing so much in the 80's and 90's. Now I do my best to make a little living here on Etsy-as for me, being rich is being able to pay the bills, and have 100.00 left over at the end of the month. I hope to bring a smile to the face of my customers and continue to do what I love with all my heart.
I work on my art, every day. Most days I start at 7AM and I go till 9-10PM. I am giving this my all and hoping that I make lots friends along the way.
I am so happy you took the time to stop by my store and I wish you a day of good things from the aether that surrounds us all....

Created out of her love for fashion Alicia Middlebrooks formed her jewelry line Betruedesigns in 2009, "I have always had such a love for art and being able to express that through jewelry design is the most beautiful gift that God has given me."
At the age of eight, alicia realized she had a love for art when she would sketch cartoons in her sketchpad for hours at a time. And at the age of 15, realized she loved fashion and pursued her new passion. Years later, Betruedesigns was formed.
Betruedesigns, is a contemporary and modern jewelry line that is created for the fashion-forward women who is not afraid to "Be True" to who she is and allows her individuality to shine through her personal style.
