Knitted hat

SIZE Women’s Medium (band circumference about 20”) MATERIALS Manos del Uruguay FINO (70% extrafine merino, 30% silk; approx.100g/490 yds), 1 sk. Shown in 401 Corsage. US 6/4.25mm ndls, 16” circular and dpn, or size to obtain gauge US 3/3.25mm ndls, 16” circular Ring marker GAUGE 6 sts = 1” over St. John’s Wor t stitch with larger ndls PATTERN STITCH St. John’s Wor t Stitch (multiple of 5 sts) Rnds 1 and 2: *p1, k3, p1; rep from * to end of rnd. Rnd 3: *p1, slip 1 knitwise with yarn in back, k2, pass slipped st over 2 knit sts, p1; rep from * to end of rnd. Rnd 4: *p1, k1, yo, k1, p1; rep from * to end of rnd. Baby cowl hat knitting pattern

Age  6-9 months U.S. 13 (9 mm) knitting needles 80 yards super bulky yarn Gauge: approx. 2.5 stitches = 1 inch Cast on 40 stitches and knit 15 rows knit 4 rows in k2 p2 decrease row: k8, k2tog, repeat from * all around. (36 stitches) Knit till piece from decrease row measure 8" cast off  sew up the top and the collar part Add a flower or button below the head opening EASY!!!

Stella's Hat

 This is super easy to make! I made it on 2 needles in an afternoon using chunky yarn. I am making another one and will write the pattern as i go.  The 1st size will be for a 3-4 year old. If anyone is interested in more sizes let me know!

Gathered Scarf Pattern

This is a very easy stitch that you can use for anything. I decided to make a scarf. You will need about 300gms of yarn - sock weight - or 4ply Best is using a sock weight yarn, and larger needles cast on 49 stitches, using #5 US needles Knit stocking stitch all along for this, the pattern is as follows: Knit 10 rows ending with a Knit row. turn, (pattern)now on the purl row knit 9, with the Right hand needle pich up a stitch about 5 rows below the 10th row and put it on the left hand needle. Knit the 10th stitch and the picked up stitch together repeat K9, pick up stitch etc till end of row. knit 5 rows, ending again with a K row Now do the pick up stitch again but this time, k4, pick up stitch,* K9, pick up stitch* and continue to end Knit 5 rows,(end pattern) Repeat till the scarf is as long as you like EASY!! DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND!! I have tried to adjust this for an adult size. This is a size medium - finished measurements bust 38.5 Length 23" (you can make this as long as you like however!) Yarn: aprox 350gms, of yarn to fit gauge 19sts and 28 rows = 4" / 10cm 7 3/4" buttons.
