Heather Anne

My name is Heather Doucette and I currently live in Toledo, Ohio with my husband, two children and three dogs. My husband is in the Coast Guard, so we are constantly moving every 3 years or so. I've had a wide variety of employment positions over the years, but the only one that's made me the happiest is being creative and artistic on Etsy. I've served in the Coast Guard also, for seven years, and have created murals for them at certain units. I've also been a veterinary technician, personal trainer, and receptionist at a car dealership. Other than being a full time step-mom, wife, and Etsy shop owner, I'm currently going to school online and will be receiving my Bachelor's degree in October. At the end of October, I will be starting my Master of Business Administration.   We have only lived in Toledo for a few months, and since we have moved here, I've been working hard to promote my Etsy shop in the hope that it will grow to help support my family. I love...

I wish i could paint or draw!

My featured artist of the day: Anita Rickwood What happened to the Owl and the Pussycat after the wedding? Well they got a mortgage on a nice semi in the suburbs, had lots of kittens and spent Sundays cleaning out the shed. They never forgot about their passion for travel though, and had a lovely holiday every summer with all their friends.   Anita Rickwood is a watercolour artist taking inspiration from the post impressionists, 1950's kids books and the animal kingdom. She lives in Brighton, a pretty city by the sea overrun with artists and musicians and spends the time she is not working trying to cultivate things on her allotment.
